DESCRIPTION:Shop Safety and Orientation I is an introduction to The Shop at the Tube Factory Artspace. This 2-hour class will cover basic and safe use of standard stationary machinery\, which includes: miter saw\, band saw\, and drill press. \nA few things to note: \n*No prior shop experience is necessary; however\, this class is required before taking any woodworking classes using Open Shop hours. It is also a prerequisite for Shop Safety and Orientation II. \n*Open to ages 16+.
