Mesa Hive: Indianapolis Bee Sanctuary Opening reception August 3, 6-10pm These connected projects — related to bees, beekeeping, culture, and community — include an outdoor living sculpture and a resulting exhibit developed by Juan William Chávez, an artist and cultural activist based in St. Louis, during his six-week residency at Tube Factory. To celebrate Indianapolis's strong German-American roots, URBANSCREEN will illuminate The Athenaeum Foundation, Inc. with images of influential German-American personalities-including Marlene Dietrich, Albert Einstein and Kurt Vonnegut.
