Brick Street Poetry South presents Terry Kirts

Please welcome IUPUI’s Terry Kirts to the Brick Street Poetry South readings series at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Listen Hear, 2620 Shelby St., Indianapolis.

Terry Kirts is a senior lecturer teaching creative writing and literature in the English Department at IUPUI. Terry has published his poetry and creative nonfiction in a number of literary journals and anthologies, including Gastronomica, Alimentum, and Home Again: Essays and Memoirs from Indiana. He’s the author of the poetry collection To the Refrigerator Gods, published by Seven Kitchens Press in 2011. He has been the dining critic for WHERE, Indianapolis, Indianapolis Woman, and NUVO before writing for Indianapolis Monthly.

An open mic will follow the reading.
